Ten Square Games – Fishing Clash

Description

While working for Ten Square Games as Lead Frontend (Client) Developer I had a chance to work on a flag ship game for TSG Fishing Clash. This is probably biggest fishing game in app stores for a long time now.

I worked closely with PO to re-envision development teams forming agile teams with lots of agency and control I also worked with executive producer and production team to plan and implement new production pipeline from scratch.

My main responsibilities were:

  • Increasing productivity by improving development process.
  • Improving QoL for developers while maintaining velocity.
  • Responsible for growth and development of game engineers.
  • Introducing, implementing, good engineering practices and teaching how to use them to achieve better results
  • Ensuring tech. is not stagnating, following trends, planning for future.
  • Starting and Leading long term technical strategic projects.
  • Making sure that Product is maintainable, easy to upgrade, documented, easy to onboard.
  • Recruiting Game Engineers and other disciplines.
  • Working with engineers to help plan, architect, document and deliver game features

Among this responsibilities I worked closely with backend development team, formed and maintained a forum to plan long term strategies.
